Hey everyone,
I was just looking for some input as I feel like it is started to get later in the application cycle and I am starting to get worried. I was complete at most of the 27 schools I applied to the third week of July, and complete to all schools by mid August. I received three invites for Buffalo, SUNY Downstate and Rochester (I'm from Buffal0) all within a week or two at the beginning of September, but have not had a single II since. I was waitlisted at Buffalo, placed on hold for spring consideration by Downstate, and have not attended my Rochester interview yet. I have gotten 6-7 pre-II rejections, and of the 15 schools I have yet to hear from, I consider 10 of them reach schools (~top 20 schools). I'm starting to worry a bit because it feels like my chances for getting interviews at any additional schools is getting lower and lower as the days go by. I feel like I am a fairly competitive application (3.63 GPA/519 MCAT, lots of ECs including running a volunteer student-run collegiate EMS service, being a volunteer firefighter/EMT in my home town, a smalls stint in research, playing on a DIAA rugby team and of course physician shadowing and all that). Is it likely that if I haven't heard from these schools by now, I probably will not be hearing anything positive for them or am I overreacting?
