timing of interviews and away electives

When are most rad onc interviews? I know they are early, are they all in November?
I am wondering if November is too late for one of my away rotations. Will they already have decided who they are going to interview at that point?

Most interviews are not in November. They are mostly in Mid December to January.

I think doing an elective in November is a bit late, but still useful, if that's all you can do. You won't be able to get a letter from anyone there, but you will still have an advantage at that institution during the interview.

You definitely can get letters from November rotations; it's just that they can't go through ERAS and have to be snail mailed directly to the programs.
