Hello,

When is the very latest you received secondaries? If I were to apply in the next cycle, fall of 2006, when should I (hopefully) expect to receive the last of my secondaries? I am trying to time my one-year account with Interfolio so I don't have to pay for an extra year -- this process is expensive enough.

Any advice is appreciated.

I got one in mid-November from a school that screens. I sent my AMCAS to that school in September. I added it late. Otherwise all the ones that I sent AMCAS in July, I recieved them all by end of August. It will depend partly on when you send your AMCAS in and whether the school screens or not.

I'm still getting pre-secondary rejections and I still haven't heard about a secondary from one school. I don't know if this means I was always rejected and they're just taking their time sending me the notice, or if I am actually being considered up until the moment they send the rejection. I think I saw a previous post that claimed to get a secondary as late as January, but I don't know.

If you're just using it for letters, you can send most of those to schools without getting the secondary. I think the only ones that won’t accept them early are: The UCs, Mayo, and Vanderbilt. Anyone have any other schools to add?

I am using it for letters of recommendation; and it seems beginning an account in mid-January should be fine. Thanks for your responses.
