Timing on receiving secondaries?????

What's up with this? I applied to 11 schools and so far only have received three secondaries. One of the schools I applied to is Loyola, and I just read a post that said it's secondary was due the 27th of Aug., and I haven't even gotten one! So I am freaking out a bit here. My GPA is 3.6, and my MCAT 26Q, but I still have AUg. scores to come in. What the hell should I do? Call the admissions offices? PLease let me know if anyone has advice.

Relax, Loyola has a different due date depending on when they send it to you.

Well, that's good to know. But still, I wonder if I'm not the only one receiving so few secondaries....it really makes me worry.

it also depends on when your amcas was uploaded from the schools - if you were verified later itll take a bit longer than the people who were processed and everything in june

Hmm, I guess so. It's just that I'm really aware/self-conscious of my not-so-great score and it's making me worry a lot. Hope I do well! 😱

what??? i didn't realize any secondaries were due so soon..i thought the earliest deadline for any place was October 15th?

What other schools do i need to eliminate from my list?

Oct. 15th is the earliest AMCAS deadline. The secondaries are rolling, as soon as you get one. I have six now, but none of them came from schools that screen. I am DEF. gonna be applying to more schools later, as in, a couple months. Don't worry, we're all in the same boat.

So far I only know of Northwestern that gives you a week after they send you the secondary application information. But apparently Loyola does the same as well?
