so im having a problem with timing for the natural sciences section on my practice tests, or atleast on kaplan practice tests. I was wondering if people general finish faster on the real thing as compared to the practice tests

I didn't. I practiced on Destroyer and ADA exam.
The timing was pretty same. I finished NS sections only 3 min left.

Only thing you can do is practice as much as possible and increase your speed.

It's rare to see someone struggle with timing for the natural sciences.

With enough practice, you should finish the section with at least 10 minutes to go.

Get the ADA exams (free 2007 one and the paid 2009 one), to get an idea of what types of questions are asked on the real exam. They usually don't involved complex calculations, but rather just setting up the equations, so that saves a lot of time.
