Hey guys,
Just a tip for those who are seeing the program (I think there is one more date- next week maybe?).
It is ungodly expensive for some reason to rent a car from the airport here ($100+ for ONE day). I'm not sure how much taxis are but they're probably costly too. They have a shuttle from/to the airport that runs pretty late (past midnight I believe), called the KCI shuttle. I think it runs into downtown every 20-30 minutes. It is $17 one way and $29 roundtrip.
It's about half hour into town and maybe 45 minutes back to the airport from town.
(816) 243-5000 is the number if you're coming into town. You don't need to make a reservation but you could call in advance just to check that they'll take you to wherever your hotel is. They have a few kiosks in the airport to get tickets also open past midnight, near gates 15 and 30 but maybe there are others.
