If I apply this May, I will have to include that I will not have a undergrad degree. I also havent taken any courses like microbiology, gentics, or physiology, etc. I only took gen-eds and pre-reqs for dental school.

I dont know what kind of schools would I have a good shot at. How many schools should I apply to? I know it costs a lot of money to apply and interview, so i want to minimize my spending, and increase my chances of getting in.

I was thinking about UIC and SIU since they are my state schools.

I will only have completed my sophomore year by this May. I would have all my pre-reqs completed (besides Physics). And GPA is at 3.74.

So again, any tips?

I also wanted to add that I may get destroyed since I dont have any experience...??

What do you guys think?

By the end of may will you have completed 90 credits? Also will you have finished the pre-reqs (bio, chem, ochem, physics, english)?

By the end of May I will have completed all requirements except Physics. I will have 65 credits. But this is only for applying. By the time of matriculating in dental schools, i will have a year left to get those credits and complete physics.

Some schools, like NYU, will accept you with only 90 credits if you have a 3.5 gpa. You should really contact those schools you are most interested in and see if they'll take you with 90 credits. As far as shadowing is concerned you can do that in June, also take the DAT at that point. You'll apply june/aug. I don't think you can even apply as early as may
