How difficult is it to find a J-1 Waiver academic job in a university not in the middle of nowhere? I have friends going into Neuro-Oncology and NeuroICU looking to stay academic and hopefully in a major metropolitan area... is there a way to negotiate with departments to sponsor J-1 waiver?
