I was wondering what kinds of LoRs and how many do I need?

When should I begin the process of talking with the professors and what materials should I have on hand to give to them?

2 science professors and a dentist. There is a TMDSAS LOR form to give them, or you can send them an email request thru TMDSAS.

You also may submit an additional letter, but TMDSAS says it is not recommended.

Do they care if it's a chemistry and ochem professor? I read TMDSAS that they prefer those in different areas...

What about non-science, like an English prof?

They prefer the science field, but pick based upon who you believe will write you the best letter, explaining to adcoms how you are as a student and an individual
