Yes they can. In fact Texas schools are very closely related to each other. Here is an example. I recently went on an Interview to San Antonio. The person that interviewed me knew I had an interview at UTSW and at Galveston. I told him that I had not been contacted by Galveston for an interview. Later on I turned on my iPhone and my email dinged and there was an invite to Galveston. He even knew that I didn't take a prep course for my MCAT, but that my have been put in my committee letter. Bottom line is (as I've been told by my adviser) they know where you have interviews if its a TX school, they know what schools you have applied to and they can see where you rank them. If more than one school wants you, they start throwing out incentives for you to come. The TMDSAS system helps them know who is offering you acceptances.
