Can anyone please explain to me how the dental school preference on the TMDSAS application works?
What is the reason for ranking the dental scools; wats the point if dental scools dont see your rankings?.. this is probably a simple question.. but for some reason im confused 😕
I know after my interviews i will be able to rank my preference. here is what it says on the application thus far.
None of the schools at which you've interviewed have entered an offer for you yet. &nbps;Please check back tomorrow.
You have interviewed with and are maintaining an active application with the schools listed below. Rank the schools in order of your preference in the list below (i.e. the school ranked 1 would be your top choice school). Your preferences will be used in the match process in an attempt to match you to your highest ranked school (if that school ranks you accordingly). Schools do NOT see your rankings.
You may return later and change your preferences any time before midnight January 10 (Central Standard Time).
As you complete interviews, new unranked schools will appear in the list below. Please check back for new schools to rank. You must update ALL your preferences by midnight on January 10 (Central Standard Time) 2012.
Note: Schools will appear in this list as soon as admissions offices at the school update this system. There may be a delay between the time your interview is completed and the time the system is updated.
