I am taking my GRE test this week. I have been studying vigorously for over a month now but I am still struggling with the Quant section and I am becoming worried as I get closer to my test day. I know that once I finish my exam I will have the choice to accept and see my scores, or cancel the scores. My question is, obviously unless I absolutely am certain I bombed the exam I should accept my scores, but what are the consequences if I do end up accepting and see I did poorly? If I choose to accept but not send scores will this score matter or be seen by anyone but myself and ETS? Or could I just return to the drawing board, do better next time and submit my better scores.

You can choose to not send the scores at that moment if you are not satisfied with your scores. Just remember that you will have to pay around $27(?) per school to send the scores if you choose to send it later. Also, research schools to see whether they accept the highest GRE scores or average out all of the GRE attempts. Good luck!
