As we all are deciding where we want to go, where to go to housing. I thought i would share this with you in regards to Transportation. I dont know abt ur financial condition ,etc. So if someone is feeling hesitant to move their car or depend mainly on public transportation. I wud suggest u to try MOPEDs. They are very good for local area transportation (ha ha dont even think abt highways). They cost hardly 500-700(used) and run like 40-50 miles per gallon and have a max speed of 60mph (depends on vehicle).

I have one and i use it often when iam not driving my car mainly bcoz of parking shortage around my school area. but i thought i shud suggest u guys also incase if someone doenst want to move their car or doesnt have a car, etc.

i dont know if its allowed to post websites that sell mopeds so iam not gonna do that, but i urge u guys do some search on google and u can know more abt it.

I drive one too! 👍 Love the gas efficiency, 70 mpg and free parking for mopeds/motorcycles at our campus. Can't beat that! Sucks during winters tho

I'll be a biker and Honda 250 scooter traveler. Personal power or great gas mileage is the way.

ha. i'd like to see a moped in a cleveland winter.

all i can see is a scene out of dumb an dumber right now

snow chains are illegal in ohio fyi

if the moped option with chains in winter was still and idea
j/k

I have a scooter 49cc. 100-yes I've tracked it-100mpg. and I get 45 on flat strip and 25 mph up a steep hill. Anyhow snow who cares I did it in Idaho before I moved to Arkansas. You just drive slower and be ready to go spread eagle if you slip a bit.👍 and I pay $39 a month the4 first two years it came to a bill of 3500$ with a 5 yr warranty and full service ect.

i seriously cant picture someone riding through a foot or two of snow on a moped. this is hilarious.

wait but dont they clean the roads after it snows. In milwaukee they have these big trucks that are constantly moving on the roads removing the snow.

yea but when its snowing a lot they cant keep up

Sometimes they can't do the sideroads right away too. And class being at 8am...who knows what will be done. But if ppl want a moped, maybe have a car for the winter, problem solved. I, myself, will be driving in a car all the time. haha

I'll pick you up and take you for a ride. Ain't nothing like feeling the cold air frost your nasal hairs and snow/ice pelt you on the face. It is best to have a car for emergency days. The trucks do get behind, but since it doesn't snow 24-7 scoots are great. I drive mine up the side of traffic and on the side walks and park at the bike stands(most of which is deemed illegal)👎

But i must say, no matter it snows or it is 100F. The joy of driving a moped is very dfifferent. iam not saying its better than a car or a motorbike. But every vehicle gives its own joy.

As mentioned above, that feeling of driving in cold winter is very different. But make sure u wear full protection. I had a friend who was very daring. he was very determined to ride in snow but didnt wore his gloves. His hands got so numb tat he had no control over them. he just fell down. Hopefully its was too much snowing. he didnt suffered any injuries.but his hands were rock solid and cold as ice. i can never forget that scene. it looked so scary. lol!

I left my ski mask at school last night nd couldn't get into get it. Arizona sound like a down right good place right now. 35 mph on a scooter with no mask stinks, the body is fine but wind burn hurts. later.
