To have roommates or live alone in dental school?

Hello! In everyone's opinion would it be better to live alone for the first year or to get a roommate. I'm 25 and I do have a boyfriend. We will be doing long distance for the first year. I am wondering if it would be better to get a roommate or live alone the first year? I have lived alone before.

First year alone, while you get used to school.

2nd year - Find someone you can tolerate but is NOT in your friend/study circle and room with them.

You will need breaks from friends etc so you don’t want to come home and have the same people with you
