Hey,

I am a Canadian applicant and we get our grades in % form. I have heard of people converting these to letter grades as it makes ur GPA a bit higher in the end. But the AASDAS instructions say to input them exactly as is on your transcript. So should i be inputting as % or can i put them in as letter grades (if i do put them as letter grades is there a chart that shows how to convert from % to letters?)

Thanks.

Do you get a letter grade along with your percentage?
That's what they do at UBC, and you just enter the letter grade.

Which school did you go to?

I go to Waterloo. They only have the % listed, but ive heard a lot of rumours that canadians are at a disadvanatage by putting in percentages & its waaaay better to put it in letter grades 😕

On the Website:

AADSAS Grade
Convert the grade to an ADEA AADSAS grade, using your best judgment to make this conversion. Your transcript evaluation may be helpful. For example, if you earned a grade of 98 on your official transcript, has that numeric grade been converted into a letter grade? If you are unable to make a definitive conversion of grades, use your best judgment in converting the grade on your transcript into an ADEA AADSAS grade.

So enter your numerical grade, then assign the AADSAS grade accordingly.
Use this to help you decide what letter grade to enter.

Hope that helps.
