To take Step 2 early or To Not take Step 2 early?

Completely unsure of what to do at this point. Any help appreciated.....

Step 1 - 235
Honors most of Year 2
Top 25% of class with 3rd Year Grades
Midwest school
Great LORs
Undergrad research
Working on a few radiology case reports
Research rotation in radiology the first rotation of 4th year

I want to match in the Midwest or South.

Would you take your Step 2 early or wait until after ERAS is submitted?

Looking for thoughts or suggestions from those with experience. Thanks in advance🙂

I would wait until after ERAS is submitted. You don't want to risk programs getting your step 2 score right off the bat if you do significantly worse, and your CV as it currently stands should be good enough to get interviews. From personal experience, I had a similar step 1 and waited until after ERAS was submitted to take it. I released it when I got my scores back.
