to take usmle ck or not? DO student, 260 step 1

Hello,

I am looking for advice as to whether or not I should take USMLE step 2. I am a DO student looking to enter an ACGME IM, Peds or Med-Peds program. I scored 260 on step 1, and 700 on level 1. I am worried that I will score lower on step 2 vs step 1, which I have heard can hurt your application. I am not sure if there is benefit in me taking step 2 because of this potential drop. However, I have also heard that some programs "require" step 2 ck... Advice or thoughts? Thank you

Someone told me that there are programs that delay invites if you don't have CK. So I would just take it and get it over with.
