Just to let you know, I was interviewed on Feb. 19 and got my acceptance letter yesterday. So, don't fret...things are happening and I'm sure yours will be on the way.

Congratulations!!!!!! <img src="http://216.40.201.155/s/otn/realhappy/yl2jump.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://216.40.201.155/s/otn/realhappy/yl2jump.gif" alt="" /> 😀 <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" />

congrats!! hope to see you here next year, unless of course U Mass takes you. And I should add that those of you who are waitlisted have an excellent chance of getting in to TUSM; almost everyone I've talked to in my class that didn't enter through the special undergrad programs Tufts and Brandeis offer was taken from the waitlist, and I was accepted in the middle of July. good luck to everyone waiting!

I know so many people from here (Brandeis) that got into tufts early. I didn't even hear about the program until it was too late....wow we have such a wonderful premed office to advise us!

FYI the people I know happen to be gunners and not very nice 🙁

also, now that I think about it, I only know of 3 people that got in

Hey everyone,

I 'm still waiting for Tufts' response, and I'm wondering if they make decisions on in-state applicants before out-of-state applicants?

no, tufts is private; though they do give slight perference to MA residents. Most people get a decision in 6 weeks; I guess Gary got lucky! I also have another friend who heard within 2 weeks who is from Arizona, so I don't think it has much to do with residency. I think I may know one of the individuals from Brandeis that you mentioned as being an annoying gunner, Doctora Foxy; most of the others from Brandeis are pretty cool. There are always going to be a few annoying people in every med school class, and no doubt we have them here too..

Hopefully I'll get into Tufts and break that rule 😀

•are they still interviewing???•••••Just thought I'd pass this along: I called tufts and they said they will interview thru April and that we should either receive an interview invitation or rejection letter by April 15. There's still hope left...

me two. we can brake that rule together. i can see it now. skipping class every day. laying around in the apartment together, stark naked. playing little baby games, tickling each other, massaging each other, groping each other.... i can call you betty, and betty when you call me you can callll meeee AAAALLL, call me AL. sing along.... 😛

Has anyone else heard from Tufts lately? I interviewed in mid-January and have heard nothing.

Yes, interviewed mid January and received an acceptance yesterday (snail mail).

Take care.

For those still waiting pre-interview like me, I'll just say that I have been complete since aroung Nov 15th and have heard nada (not that I expect to though)....good luck to all! 🙂

Hey thanks Dra. Foxy!

Unfortunately, (well fortunately for someone else) I am planning on withdrawing. I just didn't like it there very much (and, I got into my top choice, Pitt).

For those who interviewed there, did anyone have a *strange* interview experience with Dean Louis Lasagna? Just curious.

Thanks.

Jonny

I'm actually still waiting to hear about an interview!!!! If my application was complete in the fall, does that mean they are now using it for scrap paper! Is there anyone else out there like this or have they started rejecting per-interview?

valleygal, Tufts interviews until mid-april so if an invite is on the way it should arrive soon.
But to be honest with you it is not a good sign when they don't get back to you after three months of completing the application.

I thought we were going to hear from tufts soon but I still haven't recieved anything. Has anyone heard from Tufts lately??
