Has anyone done this? I know it’s for public speaking but would it be helpful for interviews? Cause doing well in interviews is actually a big hurdle for me so I would like to really improve myself.

I think you just gotta practice interviewing in order to get better at interviewing. A tip I learned is that you can film your interview responses/ practice in front of a mirror so you can also see how you can improve demeanor and body language-wise.

There are a few pre-meds in my community who are doing this and feel it has helped them be less self-conscious. Keep your topics non-technical for your layperson audience.
I’ve been in a Toastmasters group for a couple years! I really enjoy it. It continually pushes me out of my comfort zone and has made me into a much better public speaker. Also there is a section of the meeting called “table topics” where someone asks a random question and calls on people randomly to stand up and answer. It’s great interview practice. Also the people in Toastmasters are usually really nice! PM me if you want to talk about it!
