I believe that the toefl exam requirement has nothing to do with the citizenship. I was born in the US but grew up in Hong Kong. Although I have been here for 4 years already, I'm still asked to take the exam because my first language is not English. UOP would waive the exam if the student has been the US for more than 6 years. But since different schools have different requirement, you better call the schools you are going to apply to.

actually different pharmacy schools have diff requirement regarding TOEFL exam.....For some schools, if you're US Citizen, you won't have to take that exam...Some schools, if English is NOt your native language, you have to take it, no matter how long you live here...So, yeah, it depends on where you apply...

I still think this is complete Bull that some schools are requiring you to take it if you're born in the states? I mean what the hell are the ACT / SAT scores for?! There should be other requirements other than specifically being a natural born citizen. ughh.

If you have finished your BS in United States, most of the school would wave it.
