It looks like TOEFL scores are mailed out about 13 days after your test date. 13 business days after Nov 11 would put you at Nov 30th, and that's not considering the time it would take for mail to arrive to the schools as well.

It seems like it'd be safer to take the TOEFL on Oct 29th. If you have a BA in English and are relatively fluent, I do not think the TOEFL will be that difficult to pass.

Take it on Oct 29th. You should be able to do well with minimal preparation. Not having a high TOEFL score is not a deal breaker. Not having a TOEFL score is.
