Hey guys,

For the people whose native language is not English but have been here for a while and have a Bachellors degree from here. Are we also required to take the TOEFL? Sorta confused about that.

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.

It depends on the particular school. I applied to UMES and even though I received a bachelor's degree in the US and are a permanent resident the school still requires me to take the exam because I was not originally born here. 👎... Oh well, gotta do whatever it takes! :meanie:

I had to call my school's registrar to find out for sure. I had to take it, because the registrar said "the professors here have not made any exceptions."

It really depends on which school you are applying to..
Some schools they have exceptions like, if you have B.A here or 2 years study in a U.S. college.
Some schools don't even require for a Toefl (like USN)
Some schools need it no matter what...

Email or call them to clarify....
good luck!
