I just got am email from Loma Linda saying that since I was not born in the US, I have to take TOEFL test. This seems ridiculous to me because I have been in the US for a very long time and I got a 22 on the reading section of DAT. Why do I need to spend 130 bucks to take the stupid test. Before I call in the weekdays to complain, do you guys think that I have a case at hand here or I really do have to follow the rules. Also, is there any other schools that require the TOEFL test for the people who aren't born in the US?

The name I used to register TOEFL online was different from the one shown on my picture ID... the only difference was an additional first name!!! stupid..

I am seriously considering LLU so I took the test.... they want it so I am providing it... oh well... wut the heck... I haven't heard any other schools requesting for it but who knows....
