Does anyone have trouble with these? I brush twice a day, floss and use mouthwash. However, I have a deep crypt in the left side of my throat and no matter what I do, tonsilloliths form and I have to remove them with a Q-tip.

It's frustrating because I follow a proper hygiene routine, yet I feel my breath never stays fresh because of them. Not to mention, extracting them causes the tissue on my tonsils to bleed and makes the area slightly tender.

I'm tempted to get laser resurfacing to eliminate this problem. Any other sufferers?

Wow... you are sure to be a dentist using the formal name. Though I'm in my second year and have learned about those in oral path, I still call them "gunk back in the throat."
