In looking over the boards, I've noticed links to several secondaries. However, you have to create an account to "log in." My AMCAS was processed two days ago so I have not received secondaries yet, but am anxious to get a head start. Do medical schools look negatively upon students who create an account before even receiving a secondary? Is this somehow judged unethical? Also, how long before I start receiving secondaries (like I said, my AMCAS was processed on Tuesday and I received my MCAT scores on Wed). Thanks in advance!

I honestly don't think the adcoms will have that much time to actually see that the date you opened an account didnt correlate with the date that they sent the email..

Go ahead and get started on them. Otherwise, if you are still worried, just do the other ones first. Many secondaries are linked directly to the schools webpages. They have no idea when you download these.

I don't think they care. I sent most of them before I was invited where ever it was possible. Of course, I haven't heard back from most of the schools so I cannot say that they liked or disliked it.
