too late to apply

a friend of mine is contemplating applying now, is it too late, i told him to have his primary done in a week, and by mid january the schools may send him secondaries, u think? i think the secondary cutoff day for most schools is feb 15 right
please let me know

My husband did not apply until December of last year. We received secondaries in February and interivewed in March. He is a first year at UHS. We thought about waiting another year but he is OLD (31) and I felt he needed to get a move on it. I say your friend should GO FOR IT. I go through life with the motto "the worst that can happen is they will tell me no". I also like "it's easier to say I'm sorry then to ask permission" but that does not apply, here. Good luck!

A friend of mine applied to DO school in January, interviewed in February, was waitlisted until August, and eventually entered NYCOM.

I guess it's possible, but a definite stretch.
