No, it is not too late actually. Some students decide later in the year like around now, and I know one successful applicant who decided in January of her 4th year ended up at a top program in the midwest. Just have a good reason. Good luck!
i would echo that. i was scoping out programs at the end of december and got told by the PDs if i applied they would interview me. i also discovered that some programs will interview people even if all their spots are already full if you have a strong application. if you have a rotten application then yeah its probably too late however.
Some of us just take longer to decide. I myself already finished a residency in primary care, AND currently doing a SECOND residency, AND considering doing a THIRD residency in Psychiatry....took me too long to decide.
