Hey guys, I was verified late July and got most of my secondaries by the first week of August. Because I was thinking of retaking the MCAT and was told that as soon as I submitted secondaries, they would review my file. An advisor told me to wait to submit secondaries to make sure they considered my new MCAT score. Because of some family stuff, I had to cancel the MCAT and am just going to go with my first score (32). But, now it's been almost a month since I was sent secondaries and another advisor told me that that was stupid of me to wait because I will be hurt by taking so long to submit them. What do you guys think?

Well what are you waiting for? go submit them asap. It will indeed hurt a bit, but it isn't lethal.

Though, I hope you at least wrote them in the last month.

Stop waiting and get your stuff in. Your MCAT is fine. Get your secondaries in. Go go go.

Definitely submit, you'll be alright. I agree with ride, your MCAT is sufficiently competitive.

As long as your GPA is high and you're not aiming for Top 10-20 schools, you can get into a med school as the average MCAT for matriculants is 31.
