Hi everyone,
I have two transcripts from two community colleges and a transcript from the university that I graduated not too long ago. Before getting into the university, I transferred the courses from the two community colleges over to the university. Some classes transferred while others did not. Now that I am considering to apply to dental school, my concern are the classes such as ESL and extra classes that did not transfer over to the university. My concern is what do dental admissions panels calculate/consider when determining the overall GPA and science GPA? I was under the impression that they would take the values from the university that I graduated from but I've heard that they might calculate ALL the classes that I have ever taken to include the classes from the two community colleges AND at the university. Is this true? Does anyone have any guidance as to how they calculate the overall GPA and science GPA after receiving my transcripts from the three locations.
