Bio: Cliffs AP + Notes from Physiology and Animal Diversity classes
Chem: Kaplan Blue Book
OChem: Kaplan Blue Book + Textbook (Gorzynski Smith)
PAT: Crack Dat Pat<------ Probably the only product out there that is truly "better score guaranteed." Works wonders.
RC: I dunno... I've always read and never had problems comprehending.
QR: Didn't really study anything in particular... just worked on timing with practice tests. If there was a type of question on a practice test that gave me trouble, I just googled it after the test.
As far as how I studied, I was really pressed for time. I had grand plans of setting aside a huge pre-set amount of time to study but with full-time school, work and family, it never really happened. I really crammed for about two weeks prior. Because of this I found that there was just too much to remember and something had to give. I decided to focus mainly on Biology. I studied ALOT of Bio stuff. Ochem was always really hard for me, so I spent a good amount of time on that too. I had a hard time forcing myself to study genchem b/c I was so focused on the other two. I just went over some concepts superficially and figured I would probably sacrifice some conceptual questions, but that I could "math" my way out of some others.
For practice tests, I had the two out of the Kaplan book, and the 3 topscore tests. I thought they prepared me pretty well except for the PAT. CDP took care of that. I don't really remember, but I think my practice scores were pretty comparable to the actual DAT.
Also, I bought Destoyer, but never used it. I would have liked to, but again time was the issue and I felt I needed to study the material before doing practice questions from Destroyer. Well, i was still in the "study the material" phase when the DAT snuck up on me before I could even open Destroyer.
Anyway, SDN really helped me out, and i feel good about my application.
Good luck to you all!
