Pretty much a new member to this forum (wish I found out about it sooner) Anyway here are my scores:

PAT 22 (97.6)
QR 18 (74.1)
RC 19 (53.9)
BIO 19 (78.2)
GC 19 (72.4)
OC 19 (73.9)
TS 19 (76.7)
AA 19 (75.3)

I thought the test was ok....i dont know what happened in math. Math is definitely one of my stronger subjects, but i guess i was tired and felt pressed for time.

This is what i did to study: I took the kaplan course (didnt take it seriously, but did use their flash cards) I also used , DAT destoyer, achiever and studied on my own. To me achiever was a tad harder than DAT. The best thing about achiever was PAT. It made the DAT PAT not so bad. DAT destroyer helped me on Gchem and exposed me to the math.

Anyway, the real question is "what are my chances?"
My GPA is a 3.7 (unverified) at UC Berkeley.

If you have any questions.....ask away, ill try my best to answer them.

you have a solid gpa and most likely you will at least get in your state school....good luck

Pretty consistant scores, solid across the bored. Don't stress now. Just relax and enjoy the rest of the process. You might not get your #1 school but for sure you will become a dentist, WHICH IS THE MOST IMPORTANT. And to tell you the truth all schools are going to make you a good dentist!

what do you mean classification?

meaning this is fungi, protisa///

I bet it was Monera or something...always ask that...did last year

nice scores!

how did you study for PAT other than acheiver? i've been doing a lot of practice probs but still get a lot wrong in keyhole, TFE, pattern 😡

any tips?

this is where i believe taking the kaplan course helped me the most. The provided me with the basis for PAT. They showed me techinques like event couting for TFE and smashing for keyholes. For pattern folding identify the odd feature and see it the answer choices make sense. Hope this makes sense......these still take practice.

Nice job. You are in a great undergraduate school, have a great gpa and solid DATs, i cant imagine why you would have a problem, good luck with the application process

I would really like to go to UPenn for dental school.

It still woudn't be good enough, lol, just kidding! Dude, those are sick scores man. I'm so stoked for you and I sure would be to get those scores. In fact, getting that will probably be the best thing that happened to me this year alongside finally getting into dental school. Congrats man, you raped it!

I only used Kaplan. I took the class and had the online resources. The class helped a little, but the online stuff is what I really focused on.
