Sat for the exam Monday, 3/29... I find myself obsessively checking the NBME site, hoping that persistence may somehow produce a score report. Am I alone with this sort of neuroticism? Has anyone else who took the exam around that time begun to unravel at the seams like this? 😕

I know that will be me in a few weeks. Hopefully rotations will keep me distracted, first one is 4 days later. 😱 👎

Yes I'm dying to get my score back! I'm not checking the NBME site or anything (well ok maybe I have once or twice) because I know scores only come out on Wednesdays, and the soonest I could get mine back would be next Wednesday. I took the exam on Thurs April 1.

well, I took the exam and I feel like I didnt do anywhere near my practice exam potential--marked about 60 questions of which I know I missed more than 75% (looked most of them up)--so yes I am scared and frustrated but I dont keep checking the NBME site because its useless...I thought the stress is supposed to decrease after the exam...

Care to offer a review of how it went NCgirl85?

It was rough for me. I had only like 2 questions on my whole exam that were only one line long. Almost all the questions I had were 2 paragraphs long, and many with lab values in addition to 2 paragraphs. Talking to my friends it seems that most people thought the exam questions were shorter than UWorld questions but that was not at all the case for me. Other than the questions being so lengthy, the exam was about the difficulty I expected. I will comment more later in the Experiences and Scores thread.

yeah im pretty sure i got atleast 90% of the ones i didnt mark correct, and out the ones I did mark, probablt like 40-60% of those right--i just dont want to be disappointed because I worked really really really hard for this exam--3 months nearly 12 hours per day...what reallyy sucks is missing the questions which are at the "tip of your brain", and then the answer comes to you when you finish the block--had about 4 of those =(

Pretty sure my score comes out Wednesday, which I'm kind of dreading. I have no idea how I did. I didn't take any practice tests before the exam, although I was doing well on UW by the end. I'm not even sure I'm going to check my score when it comes out.

Coolguy, I'm sure you did great. I had a few of those where the answer came to me later (argh, hated those), but hey, it happens.
