So...im a step 1 and step 2 in the 250s, currently a medicine prelim for radiology starting in july
I studied for ~3 weeks during my radiology rotation this month. Did uworld, finished with a 65%, uwsa of 238, ~70% on the usmle CD...but i know i bombed this exam hard. I felt like i was guessing on nearly 60% of all the questions, especially on day one.
What really killed me however, was the CCS part.
I went through the uworld cases 1.5 times and read master the boards in a week as well as practiced the cases from the usmle website.
During the exam, my cases weren't too bad but i would be in the middle of a workup when a couple cases ended. I didnt get to get results from syphilis when i knew he had a maculopapular rash on his penis. The case just ended and i had plenty of time. There were several cases where I didnt know the diagnosis, a couple went to the end, possibly because I missed something. Some cases, patient didnt get much better. Others I forgot to move patients appropriately. I didnt kill anyone if that matters and I think I did decent workups. I am just really worried that I am going to have to take this exam again.
Did anyone else feel like this? I thought the ccs questions were supposed to be easy...
If i fail the exam, im not even sure how to prepare to pass it!!
