Are people emailing/writing their top choice prelims too? At this point I am so burned out on this process that I almost don't care where I go for internship...

I sent a thank you card to the chair of my 1st choice prelim telling them that they were my number 1. Not that I think it matters...considering it's Scripps Transitional and they can take whoever the heck they want.

I also sent a thank you/email of interest to my top prelim program but it was just because my SO is locked up in her job for next year and it is one of only two programs in the particular city. Overall, I don't think it hurt but probably didn't help either.
