Hello!

Well like the subject line says, I'm eager to find out the top schools for health policy. I'm currently an undergraduate at the University of Washington (Junior), I have a lot of internships in the health policy field as well as taking a few Masters degree classes and I'm now preparing to apply to schools at the end of the year. Currently I have a 3.5 GPA (one quarter) and honestly it will only go higher due to a newborn that has been keeping me up. 😀

I'm just wondering what are the top schools for health policy programs. All suggestions are welcome!

Thanks to all of those that answer in advance!

I'm a Health Education major but am unofficially minoring in health policy and law now due to how amazing the faculty are at UT-Houston. I have come to love their department better than my own honestly. I don't know where they fall in the rankings on policy specifically but for me the people make the program and they are great.

I just applied to the health policy and law program at UTH. I haven't been very impressed with the admission office, however, it's good to hear that the department has great faculty.🙂

Is it easy to switch programs once you're in?

Did any of you have experience in health policy prior to applying to the schools? I'm in the process of setting up an internship with a public health foundation in my state but other than that (which should last 5 months) I have little to no experience in health policy.

My policy/law courses are electives. I'm a health education major but I believe it's easy to switch majors although switching to management may add time to your program since they have a pretty clear sequence they follow.
