Top Neurology residencies for IMGs!

I'm an IMG with a YOG>5 years and USMLEs scores> +250, I just finished IM residency in my home country currently doing a neurology basic science research. I'd really appreciate feedback from experienced people here about my chances in strong programs like CCF and case western ... would my YOG be a deal breaker to join such program, would it better to have 2 years basic research instead of only one, would it be better to switch to clinical research ... so many questions actually!

Thank you for your decent answer, for awhile I thought I'm asking a naive question. Generally speaking I know that Neurology is an IMG friendly specialty but what'd make me a competitive candidate for good programs this I don't know like clinical vs basic research vs clinical rotations considering that I'm old grad with previous clinical training in IM.

Nope I'm applying next cycle, those programs was just an example cuz I'd hope to live in Ohio.

WVU is very IMG friendly in neurology.

Have you interviewed at Case? or CCF?

I interviewed at both of those institutions this cycle (as a US grad), and would say Case appears to be very IMG friendly. In the nearby area, so does Ohio State and Henry Ford.
