Okay i finally figured out that i was doing a google search instead of a forum search. i got the explanations for my other questions, except for this one. so if somebody could please explain just this one..i'd greatly appreciate it. thanks a bunch!

First discount: 0.25 x 1800 = $450

First discounted price : 1800 - 450 = $1350

2nd dicount : 1350 x 0.35 =$472.50

Total discount for cash purchase : 450 + 472.50 = $922.50

Note: Question here is a bit unclear. It may easily confuse reader with the total of one time discount of 25 + 35 = 60% instead, leading to 0.60 x 1800 = $1080
