i have been using topscore to study for the SNS lately. I have found that the test get progressively harder. Does anyone who has actually taken the test think that topscore science was harder than the real thing?

This question has been answered many times already on this forum. Anyways, TopScore is a very good representation of the DAT, but, I will admit, both organic and general chemistry sections are more intensive than on the real DAT. You should expect less calculations on the real DAT and simply plug-in formulas. I still think the Topscore chemistry section is a very good source to study for the real thing.

i've posted my score comparisons and .02 on the topic in previous threads. do a search on the forum and you will come up with a lot of good threads from previous times the question has been asked.

Topscore problem- way harder on the O-chem section than the actual DAT in terms of detail. the g-chem section on topscore has you do a lot of arithmetic that is just not required on the DAT

Kaplan-the PAT section is not sufficiently hard. For example, on the DAT PAT they have hole-punch questions with multiple holes punched, these are not on the Kaplan CD.

Though you asked about the science section i'll share something i got caught off gaurd with in the Reading section. I don't know if you have noticed that Topscore reading comp. questions are practically copy pasted word for word from the text the actual DATs are not.
