Hi all

Just wondering if anyone know of a way to make the Topscore cd work even after it expires. I got it a year ago and I need to use it now to study for DAT test. I'm not sure why i got it so early, I guess i was just alittle anxious. So any ways I've kinda tried to set my computer date back but it didn't seem to work. Does anyone know of a way to get it to work???

thanks

You've got to buy a new one, or get an extension of it.

You can get more info from the TopScore website -- there is an entire page devoted to the matter.

That is one of the limitations of the CD, however it does a fairly good job of providing a realistic test, especially with the format.

I remember someone said that you can get it to work if you change the date. I tried to do this but it didn't work. What exactly would you do to get it to work if you were to fiddle with the date?

try uninstall it and change the date on your computer
if not, you need to format your harddrive or simply create another os

or you can always install it to another computer

It won't work if you've privously tried to install it on that computer even if you reformat (i tried)... You have to change the date first and then install it on a fresh computer... I used my roommates
Make sure you don't make an error on changing the date (aka make sure the yr is right)...

You could always change the date in the system BIOS...that might work.

Usually formatting a hard drive gives full access to timed out shareware.

nah, just ask your roommate or someone you know w/ a computer and change the date on it before you install it... it works, that's what I did 🙂
