So, between the big four which school is the most expensive and which is the least? Obviously I can read websites and know the tuition and a ballpark for rent, but all together (tuition, food, housing, car, if needed, ect) what is the best deal-money speaking at least?

SGU >> Ross > AUC > Saba

which would you recommend attending in terms of matching into something besides primary care?

If I repeat this 10000000000 times I will LOL

Step scores, Step scores, Step Scores, Step scores........................

Matters not which of the "Big 4" a 190 from SGU matters not verses a 190 from SABA, what will matter is a 240 from SABA verses a 190 from SGU, which one will have a shot at Derm? Uh duh, the 240 from SABA.

I just want people to stop putting so much on reputation of the school crap, yes its crap, you are a FMG that means 100000000000000000000% more then which school you are a FMG from in the Caribbean, Sure a FMG from Kings College in London is different from one from SGU, but that's not what we are talking about.

Worry about what matters here

Getting into one of the big 4
Getting a high Step one score
Do ACGME rotations
Kiss butt all the time

You will succeed.:meanie:

does this have any bearing in choosing a school:

"On July 27, 2007, St. George's University was selected as the exclusive international medical school to utilize the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation system for training its third and fourth year medical students. Under the terms of the agreement and over the course of the intended 10 years of the contract, St. George’s University will pay HHC an estimated $100 million, and will be guaranteed a minimum of 600 training positions. This is the largest single affiliation agreement for the clinical training of SGU’s clinical students in the University’s history. Most notably, students of other foreign medical schools are now ineligible to participate in any clinical training at any of the HHC hospitals.[7]"

Not a big deal. There are far too many teaching hospitals in the NYC area to make a big difference.

Like oldpro stated, your step scores and letters of recommendation have much more to do wit it than which of those 4 schools.
