Total number of application rounds and waitlist success

I posted this on the prevet forum and I thought perhaps you guys would have more to say on this topic(at least until b/w april and aug🙂). Thank you for any information you share.

Hi, I was just wondering if people would be willing to say how many times they have applied and if they were put on waitlists describe that experience ie. for each waitlist experience school, rank, did you get offered a spot?

Thanks for the information I understand if its too sore of a topic. I am on a waitlist for the first time and I have small mental breakdowns pretty much all day.

I applied once, and was waitlisted at Colorado State. I was number 8 on the out of state list and was accepted the day after the deadline (which was April 17th, I think, when I applied). I turned them down though, because I was accepted to other schools.

I applied once and was accepted to MN and waitlisted at Tufts and WI (out-of-state for all). I was called by Tufts on April 20th last year, which was very soon after the common deadline. I believe they gave me two weeks to make a decision, which I did by accepting their offer and giving up my MN seat. I took myself off of the WI waitlist at that time, too, so never found out if I was going to be accepted, but my WI waitlist number was somewhere in the 100's, so it was probably unlikely.
