Guys,

Here are my stats:

AA: 20
RC: 25
TS: 18

GPA: 3.4
sGPA: 3.51
BCP: 3.65

NY Resident. will my TS hurt my chances for acceptance into any schools? Any schools I should avoid? Let me know.

Thanks so much!

I think your individual biology and chem scores would give us a better idea of your odds. If you had a Chem 20, Bio 15...that's a problem. If it's 18/18, that might not be as bad. You do have a high BCP, so they'll likely see it as strange that you have a low(er) TS.

Congrats on being done! Congrats on the killer RC as well. I agree that seeing the TS breakdown might help out... Either way, they look like pretty solid scores 👍

PAT 20 (79%)
QR 17 (76%)
RC 25 (97%)
BIO 19 (77%)
GC 18 (62%)
OC 19 (71%)
Total Science 18 (63%)
Academic Average 20 (88%)

what do you guys think now?

If you got straight 18's across the board, no, it won't hurt you, but it won't really help to much either. If you got like a a 22, 16 and 16, yes, that'll hurt.

I think those are fine scores - if you got an 18 RC you'd have some overall average scores, but with that 25, you'll be able to stand out. How'd PAT go?

hey vic, i want to tell you thanks man i read your RC thread and modified it for my own way and I am only 1 q away from the 30 you had man! PAT I had a 20. I thought it was easy. I never scored above a 20 in CDP, so im fine with it. I also got a 19 and 20s on topscore and 2009 ADA Test.

So overall you feel that my scores would be good? and would not hinder me from acceptance at schools like nyu, buffalo, temple?

wired202808, what's going on, pal? Killer scores. I wouldn't worry too much; your RC is really off the hook. I think you're in good shape.

Also, schools don't look at percentages. I wish I did because my AA 23 is 99.7% 🙁

I'm really glad I could help! Great job! I think you've got very competitive scores - based on just those, I'd say you're a good bet for interviews, after that, it's all up to you - good luck!

I've actually been looking for Vicepters method and yours wired!

I did a practice RC on CDR. I just read the passages straight through, answered the questions, (even took time to read instructions on how to take the RC), and scored a 20. I think I can do well if I fine tune my strat: what did you guys do?

Here's the little guide I made on SDN a while back, a lot of people have used it and done really well - but I've got to say that the most important thing is that you find a method that works well for you, and adapt it for yourself. Good luck!
