Anyone feel like the test period from July-Sept with STEP 2 CK scores coming out on Sept 16, 2015 was tougher or less forgiving. Just hearing so many stories of people scoring below their expected score or averages on self assessments/NBMEs.

Everyone takes the test literally once, so it's impossible to actually figure this out.

I didn't get the impression that many people are scoring under their averages. Either way, it seems that over the past couple years Step 2 Ck has evolved and become much more involved/complex while unfortunately keeping essentially the same questions (with few exceptions) and time per block.

Probably because SDN is full of crazies.

Yeah, mine was pretty straightforward. I mean like 4-5 per section were random and impossible to narrow down but other than that, 90% was stuff I had seen before and had an idea about what was going on.

Yeah mine was really tough, very different than uworld tbh. I also scored 10-15points below my averages
I also had a section with 20 questions for the entire hour, no ads or abstracts.
Not sure what to make of it but it is what it is I guess...

Not really. I did as well as I had expected. Which means virtually nothing in a thread with 5 responses thus far...

Also, it doesn't matter. You just need to do better than the other guy/gal. Clearly, there are norms established for the test scores, so there's truly no 'hard' test.

The IMG threads are going insane with so many failures being reported. They're even faxing ECFMG to complain, as if that would accomplish anything.
