Touro-NV - Which hospitals can you rotate through?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I am in a similar situation as you Masterdeep but am starting to lean more towards Touro NV. Below are the rotation sites I've found for NV.

UMC/Valley

  • Valley
  • UMC
  • Desert Springs
  • The VA
  • Spring Mountain
  • Fremont
  • Nevada Health Centers, Inc.
  • Southwest Medical
  • Summerlin Hospital
Sunrise Hospital

St. Rose Dominican

Not so bad considering Valley Hosp has it's own AOA residency program: 👍

We can choose to stay in Las Vegas/Henderson for years three and four right?

Yes. And it's possible to even finish your residency in Vegas if you want to.

I heard from the Dean that they are also setting up a place in Siberia, Russia for Touro-NV students to rotate in.

Are there any dedicated spots in MI for the Touro-NV students? I know there are 12 spots (at least this yr) for Touro-CA, but not sure on the NV students.

Hey everyone...an MS-2 at TUNV here.... Email Oscar, the director of admissions, he will put you in touch with a 3rd or 4th year who can answer any detailed questions that you have.

How do you like it at Touro-NV? Would you recommend the skool?

100% happy with my decision to attend here for many reasons. PM me if anyone wants to know anything about the school (keep in mind I'm just a 2nd year so can't answer specific questions about what rotations are like).

Good luck with all of your decisions!
