In first aid 2016 pg 268 it says that TPR decreases in removal of organs in parallel (i.e.) nephrectomy.
Looking at the equation for parallel resistance: 1/R(total) = 1/Ra + 1/Rb etc. it doesn't seem to make sense to me. When you remove an organ in parallel according to this equation, then the total resistance is expected to decrease.
Could someone explain what I'm missing here?
