Trail making test and Cognistat--Help!!

Please help!!!

I failed the assessment comp last quarter and I have ONE MORE chance to pass it. They ask about 5-7 questions regarding the Trails (part B usually) and cognistat. Does anyone have a good basic description of these measures, what they do, don't do, how they are scored, etc?

Hey,

You should be able to easily locate a copy of Psychological Assessment by Groth-Marnat. In it you will find a really, really good description of Trails A and B.

For the cognistat, it is worth looking up articles by Folstein for descriptions about its uses, etc. Also, Kaplan and Sadock's Synopsis of Psychiatry have good descriptions. If you need any help, feel free to PM me!
