Does anyone that is going to interview at Case know anything about the train that goes from the Airport to campus?

Specifically I am looking for prices and what times the train goes? Is it possible to catch it in the morning before I go to my interview or is better to get a cab?

Also how long does it take on the train to get to the campus from the airport.

Take the train. It's super easy and cheap. I took it last year to my interview, and caught it in the morning no problem and made it to my interview. You can go online to get more information on it. Drops you off close to the dental school.

I live in Cleveland. Hopkins airport is far from Case Western. The train, which is round trip of $3.50-4 drops you off pretty close. A cab would be at least $40 round trip.

As you pick up your luggage, there is an RTA Rapid entrance right there. Just simply tell the person you need to get to University Circle and that person will tell you what ticket to buy. It will take 10-15 min to get to the University area, but there isn't a better way if you are staying near the campus.

IIRC it's in some corner of the airport towards the bottom level. There are two train stops that are pretty close to the school. I took the 2nd one because it was closer to the place I was staying overnight at. I feel like it was more than just 15-20 minutes but it was 9 months ago so I don't remember specifics.

Hey, sorry but I couldn't resist.

I had my interviews this past year, and I ultimately decided to go to Columbia. Case was one of the other schools I interviewed at.

There is a subway directly connected to the airport that goes every 15 minutes or something.

...anyways, Cleveland is the biggest **** hole I have ever seen in my life. What's funny is not only is it by far the worst place I have seen in my life, but the train ride to the school shows the worst parts of Cleveland. I will never forget how bad of a city that was. The school itself is great. As for Cleveland, I truly feel sorry for anyone that lives there. Absolutely horrible! Expect to see the worst city ever, with everything run down, and deserted homes, and people in poverty all over the place.
