Wait, have you applied this cycle? I am assuming you havn't.
as far as the transcripts go, AADSAS will give you a transcript matching form for the EXCISTING transcript (first college), since you haven't really finished any semesters with the 2nd college, there is no transcript from there yet. When you print out the trans. matching form for the first college, take it to your school, and have them print out your official transcripts and mail it directly to AADSAS ALONG with the trans matching form. You are NOT allowed to mail these transcripts yourself, if you do that, AADSAS will not consider them "official" and you have to repeat the process again
As far as transcripts to schools go, most dental schools (exception ~ detroit mercy) will not require you to send in your transcripts, the ones AADSAS privides is enough for them.
you do NOT need to send DAT scores to individual schools, HOWEVER when you signed up to take the DAT, there is a section in the DAT application where you designate which schools you want to receive your DAT. You MUST select these schools or AADSAS will not forward your DAT to them. If you have not selected these schools, you need to do it now.
as far as "When you pay AADSAS, do you have to pay separately to each school or just pay AADSAS"...... AADSAS will lump-sum 1 big total for all the schools your applying to. For example, me, I applied to 18 schools, my AADSAS cost was around $1450, I paid it all in 1 payment...... And remember, these are the AADSAS fees. There are the 2ndary fees that each school will ask you to send in separately. So for me, I paid the $1450 to AADSAS, and each of the 18 schools, I sent them a money-order for the amount of $45-80..... Total came up to about $3000 😱
As far as the dentpin and DAT scores, I am not sure when it should show up, I do know all you need to do is put in the right dentpin and date of birth and AADSAS will automatically pull up your DAT. It takes a few weeks I think... If you don't have it yet, I suggest calling AADSAS, they have excellent customer service
