Hello there,

I would appreciate if someone had an opinion to offer re: how I should do the transcript entry to my AADSAS account.

Essentially, I had planned on using the PTE service and had already paid the fee but when I contacted them they told me one of my previous colleges is not on their list for 'approved schools' so the PTE team would need to cancel that transcript and I was told I would need to order an official copy again to enter the courses taken at that college by myself. The other thing I hadn't fully considered was that to use the PTE service we need to have applied to at least one program already but I do not plan on doing that just yet as the other components to my application are not yet complete, ie. submission of my LOR. Therefore, I wanted to see if anyone had an opinion about what I should do moving forward. Which would be faster-- focusing on completing all components of my application, applying to one program and then requesting the PTE service (who also take 10 BD to process everything), or just entering the coursework for all my transcripts on my own and working towards completing the required sections of the application simultaneously. I was initially planning to do the latter however I worried I would make errors with transcript entry as I do have several different transcripts from different institutions.
I know this is more something I have to judge for myself but in order to save some time, what seems to be the best course of action?

Thank you so much for your time.

Personally, entering the transcripts did not take long for me and is much faster than waiting 10 BD.

In my opinion, Professional Transcript Entry is valuable if you have a ton of transcripts from different places. You should be able to do it on your own if you have 1 or 2. But if you have 5 or so with lots of courses each, consider it.
