Transcript... Just want to check something quick

I sent in my transcript last week, but I won't be sending in my application until late June.

So, will AMCAS hold my transcript on file until they receive my application?

I sent in the transcript along with the request form. That's all I needed to do right?

Relax. Yes, if you have started an application and have an account per se (an AMCAS number), they will hold on to your transcripts until you submit.

Just remember they will not do anything with your transcripts until you submit.

I don't recall exactly what the message is, but when your application is verified they will inform you.

Yes, I already sent my transcripts and they are listed as "recieved." I would assume sometime after I submit the status will change to "verified."

This is correct. AMCAS is pretty good about informing you of any status changes to your application (i.e., LORs received, transcripts received, application verified, etc.). As I recall, for each of these steps, I received an email notification about them.

Where in AMCAS do you see this status of received? I've been looking everywhere for it and it's probably just right under my nose. 🙄

I know they've gotten 3 out of my 5 requested, but that's because I received an email from them confirming this.

ETA: Nevermind! I found it by clicking on the Details hyperlink, right underneath "Not Submitted to AMCAS" on the main menu page.
